This wonderful, beautiful journey we call life is also incredibly painful at times. During those times, engaging in the therapy process can be helpful in a number of ways: it provides the opportunity for healing, acceptance, connection and support; it offers the chance to learn empirically validated skills to address thoughts, feelings and behaviors that we find distressing; and it is a place to find our 'why,' our sense of meaning and purpose, which can help us enrich our lives.
Angie specializes in the treatment of eating disorders (bulimia, anorexia, binge eating disorder), mood disorders (anxiety, depression), substance use disorders, and the sequelae of trauma.
She has trained in a number of settings including: a rape and domestic violence center, crisis hotline, substance use treatment center, community health clinic, psychological assessment clinic, and two of the area's eating disorder treatment centers.
Angie is an independent contractor working with Cabot Psychological Services.
