Richard offers many years of experience: after more than 25 years of working as a licensed psychologist, he’s had the privilege of hearing the stories of thousands of clients. He obtained his master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of North Dakota and operates from a strength-based perspective, drawing from both Narrative and Cognitive Therapy approaches.

He is interested in working with clients with concerns about health, wellness, relationship, mood, anxiety and spiritual questioning. He has personal and professional expertise working with individuals facing exceptional needs and the families who care for them, ranging from Autism/ASD to coping with medical conditions.

Kind, gentle and understanding, Richard is excited to have witnessed clients make positive and lasting changes. Richard has been married for 30 years and has three wonderful children.
